Abilities give more power to the actions that they are correlated to.  

Abilities can be trained by performing the action influenced by the ability. 

For example, using the skill Bandage Wounds (a skill that bases its power on the player's First Aid ability) has a chance to increase the First Aid ability.

 Abilities can be trained to maximum of 10 times character's current level. So, a level 1 character can train abilities up to a maximum of 10, a level 2 character can train abilities up to a maximum of 20, and so on. The character can also obtain items that increase specific abilities by a certain amount while also raising the maximum of that ability by the same amount. 

Also displayed on the Abilities screen is the character's resistances and skill protections. 

Weapon AbilitiesEdit

Weapon abilities affect the damage the character does with each weapon type, with the exception to the Hand to Hand ability, which affects the damage dealt by the character when no weapons are equipped.

God Statue Abilities Edit

God statue abilities are received from the four God Favor quests given by the Statue of Epona, statue of Lir, Statue of Gofannon, and Statue of Daghda.

Taming abilities affect the power of skills used by pets.
